Manufacturer Stock:

• Available at manufacturer facility
• Ships within 5-10 business days
• Subject to manufacturer inventory

Made to Order:

• Manufactured upon order
• Lead time: 15-180 business days
• Custom specifications available

Backordered:

• Temporarily out of stock
• Estimated restock date provided
• Option to wait or cancel

Discontinued:

• No longer manufactured
• Limited to existing inventory
• Alternative products suggested

Inventory Management

Real-Time Updates:

• Stock levels updated hourly
• Automatic backorder notifications
• Low stock warnings on product pages

Allocation During Shortages:

• First-come, first-served basis
• Institutional orders prioritized
• Grant-funded orders protected
• Partial shipments available

Backorder Procedures

1. Notification: Immediate email if item becomes backordered
